ABOUT CORINA RICHARDS

Corina Richards is an artist based in Arizona. She grew up in the Texas hill country doodling in her school books. After some years of university schooling in microbiology, she ventured off to Europe as a missionary and fell in love again with art. Upon returning home, she married her sweetheart Jeffrey and changed majors. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Studio Art and K-12 Art Certification. For a few years she taught in a Texas school district spearheading an art program and in-school gallery. She left her teaching profession to stay-at-home with their two kids and continue her work as a freelance graphic designer, printmaker and illustrator. Her artworks have been published in print magazines and books and showcased in galleries across Texas, Arizona and Hungary. Her works focus on nature and whimsy.
